Frequently Asked Questions

Find the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions about heat pump cleaning, servicing and maintenance.

If the cold air only lasts for a few minutes, prior to returning to warm air, your heat pump is likely in defrost mode.

This occurs when the outdoor coil frosts over.

If the cool air is continuing, it can be a sign of dirty filters, thermostat issues, a dirty outdoor unit or other serious issues. Please get in touch to book a maintenance inspection and clean.

Often, when you start using your heat pump on cooling for the first time, it can cause some water leaking indoors

A water leak inside can also indicate that the heat pump filters need cleaning, so please don’t hesitate to book a maintenance inspection and clean if you have any concerns.

It is recommended to have your heat pump inspected and serviced at least once a year.
